Eclectic, weird and astoundingly good mixtape of Swedish duo: Super Viral Brothers (one of them is a member of well known electro-house crew of Dada Life). Music erudition, plus top quality production and a vocalist, and most of all brave mash-ups in the strangest configurations possible. They not only mix tracks, but a vocalist also sings (let me tell you, he performs a hell of a job on a mike) kind of ‘covers’ of remixed pieces, while adding his own lyrics (full of drug references). Classic avant-garde, independent music and big names from the past, e.g. Throbbing Gristle vs. Karlheinz Stockhausen (in my opinion the best mash-up on the mixtape), Fela Kuti, Velvet Underground, Jimmy Hendrix, The Stooges is confronted with more powerful, modern sound of Portishead, Aphex Twin, Benga, Kid Cudi, Crookers, Justice, Mr. Oizo and many others, as well as with each other. This clash of a few music traditions mix in this melting pot in an apparently chaotic way, however a duo of alchemists conjures absolutely golden nuggets out of this mishmash. Check it! A very original production!

Eklektyczny, dziwaczny i cholernie dobry mixtape dwójki Szwedów Super Viral Brothers Super Viral Brothers (jeden z nich to członek znanej electro-house ekipy Dada Life). Muzyczna erudycja, plus świetna produkcja i dobry wokalista a przede wszystkim odważne mash’upy w najdziwaczniejszych konfiguracjach. Nie tylko miksują kawałki ale wokalista śpiewa (dodam że świetnie,) swoiste ‘covery’ remisowanych numerów, dodając własne testy (pełne odniesień do narkotycznych stanów). Klasyczna awangarda, niezależna muzyka i wielcy muzycy z przeszłości np. Throbbing Gristle vs. Karlheinze Stockhausen (dla mnie najlepszy mash-up na taśmie), Fela Kuti, Velvet Underground, Jimmy Hendrix, The Stooges w zestawieniu z mocniejszym bardziej nowoczesnym brzmieniem Portishead, Aphex Twin, Benga, Kid Cudi, Crookers, Justice, Mr. Oizo i wielu innych. Zderzenie kilku muzycznych tradycji miesza się w tym tyglu pozornie w chaotyczny sposób, a jednak dwójka alchemików wyczarowuje z tego miszmaszu prawdziwie złote numery. Sprawdźcie to koniecznie.
