Glitch Mob - Crush Mode Mix

Glitch Mob consists of "THE MOB BOSS" Ooah, „THE HIRED GUN” Kraddy, , "THE CRUNKMASTER HIMSELF" edIT , and finally "THE ICEMAN" Boreta

Individually they produce great tracks and remixes, actually too many to mention here, whereas as a whole the MOB is even more than the sum of its parts. Glitch Mob is one of the most creative music crews of the globe hailing from the West Coast of USofA. And West Coast is now at the fringes of music revolution, pushing the envelope further and further. In very very general terms (I know that pigeonholing is bad thing, but …) the artists from these scene merge (mainly) American hip-hop (which long time ago ceased to be inventive, inspirational or creative) with absolutely top-quality post-modern glitch / cut-up electronica, with turbo crunk and wonky elements thrown in just for the heck of it in enormous quantities. I am really impressed with their skills and the way these guys ‘reign over’ their production equipment while creating very tight tracks consisting of unbelievable number of musical layers. And I’ll be damned if this music is not the ultimate dream of any dancefloor lover (roight, roight, I’m a big exaggerating here).

In January Glitch Mob released a very good mix including their own productions. Top-notch all around. Give it a try!

The highlights of this tight mix are:

Nalepa “Monday” remix – you definitely heard this one. For me – one of the top-5 tracks of the last year. And a fantastic remix of Lil Wayne - Lollipop by Nasty Ways* I’ve heard a few remixes of this track, but this one definitely stands out! The mix ends with the West Coast scene anthem that is West Coast Rocks by Matty G in Glitch Mob version.

The mix comes with a very nice wallpaper package which can be downloaded here
