EPROM - Pipe Dream EP (RWINA415)

Ultra Heavy Bass Champion - Eprom will drop in April another super bombastic and stomping release on RWINA, following his mighty Humanoid EP (Humanoid is still one of my top heavy bass anthems of all times). Pipe Dream, Chromium Decay, and The Symbiote are a rollercoaster of one-of-a-kind EPROM glitchy basslines rolling through the sonic landscape like a slow, but heavy armed, tank through the modern battlefield methodically clearing the terrain in front of it with mind-twisting stabs of pure digital fiiiiiiiiiiiireeeeeeee! I also have my favorite roller out of the three killing tracks. The Symbiote with its 21st century, twisted and distorted, robotic organs, could easily become a part of music score of some post-apocalyptic steam-punk thriller. Can't wait for this release. A must for any fan of straight-in-yer-face dancefloor smashers!

Listen to the preview and check the artwork, which is simply amazing!

SRBCST 04: Zet. – Don’t Forget The Dot

Selection of beats par excellence from a German mutant bass producer Zet in a fantastic mix for SashiRadioBlog from Ukraine. Zet  represents one of the most forward looking labels on Planet Earth, releasing new robotic music for humans, i.e. Robox Neotech. The set starts from a few ill tracks from Zet's Who is Hudson River EP and then proceeds to meticuously destroy the listeners with superb beats, heavy basslines and off-the-hook synths. For real, one of the great mixes I've heard in months! Good news is many of the tracks are forthcoming releases on Robox Neotech, featuring Demokracy, Damscray, Lakritze and Zet. CAN't WAIT. Plus my all-time-favorite technological roller - Humanoid by Eprom, great hyphy anthem - Slumper by Turf Talk or sick, twisted brap joint Jet Black by Lazer Sword. Absolutely top-notch selection and a must for any fan of contemporary, mutant, industrial, post hip-hop beats and heavy bass.

Eprom - The Bay Area EP

Eprom has posted on his bandcamp a very nice collection of his unreleased bangers, with super faaaaaaaaat bass. You know you want this badly!! Great slow-burning rollers to make your subwoofers happy :)

The word from the man himself: The Bay Area EP is a collection of unsigned, previously unreleased EPROM bangers from a period where I was heavily influenced by the bass-heavy trunk rattling sounds coming from the SF Bay. This is for all my bay heads and for lovers of bass worldwide. Pay what you like!

EPROM - RobotSexTape

Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh !! This is the shit I've been waiting to put my ears on! EPROM finally drops his mixtape which you can download from his bandcamp. His legendary 2009 Mixtape has been on constant rewind in my soundystem for months. RobotSexTape will follow the same path, I'm sure. It is sickness all across the beats, bleeps, pieces and sick basslines. EPROM rulez. No tracklist yet. Peeps in Europe beware - in September EPROM will (or already invaded) a city near you - definitely Manchester, Amsterdam and some more. Sadly, not a city near me :(

Low End Theory Podcast Episode XVII

The mighty series of Low End Theory Podcasts is back with Episode XVII by Daddy Kev and Baths. Top-notch selection as usual with new super hot shit from Lazer Sword, Fulgeance, Robot Koch and others. EPROM's Psycho simply shattered all my senses, the filthest, illest synths in a galaxy!! What a tune! The Baths' mix is also great even though on a slightly different tip than the first part. All in all a MUST for any fan of new electronica!

Glitch Mob - xlr8r podcast / edIT - Pound 4 Pound

The Glitch Mob in double feature. The boys have a short break from their big tour and decided to release some goodies via the Internet.

First, the track by edIT - Pound 4 Pound, which was originally featured in The Glitch Mob’s Low End Theory podcast - now available as a free download through TheGlitchMob.com. A heavy treat, with some hard-hitting synths in a kind of cross between the "old" edIT and the new The Glitch Mob turned live band :)

On the same day The Glitch Mob released their xlr8r podcast. Boreta, Ooah and edIT offer a super eclectic selection of fantastic exercises in post-hip hop beatmaking, with great vocalists doing their job to the rhythm of distorted, glitchy bass. The voyage ranging from the muzak of Jamie Lidell, The Dead Weather, Yeasayer or Ratatat (one of the best albums this year in Doktor Krank's ranking - highly recommended!) through the likes of Alex B and the knight of the dark side Lorn (the artist of the year for me!) to the champions of warped, ultra glitched sound, i.e. Eskmo in his fantastic remix of Bibio's track and Eprom exploring more and more experimental regions of music spectrum in mind-boggling Whyyyyyyyy? Honestly, I can't get enough of the stuff produced by Eprom atm. The good news is he will hit Europe in September!.The bad news is he does not (yet) have a gig booked in Poland. PROMOTERS - don't sleep on him, grab the man before it is too late.

All in all, don't expect dancefloor mayhem, heavy bass, sick drops and  breakdowns like in the old days of the Glitch Mob, but if you are into Music with capital 'M' this podcast is a must!

Tracklist:
01 Harold Faltermeyer "Top Gun Anthem (Edit)"

EPROM - FELDSPAR (SubFM Starkey show radio rip)

Sander EPROM, the perpetrator of filthy dancefloor destroyers like e.g. Humanoid or Shoplifter, hits the airwaves with another monster tune - Feldspar which you can here in a radio-rip format from the latests Seclusiasis show by Sarkey. I only wish he released them faster faster faster ....

STARKEY - STARS (SLUGABED DID A REMIX) + STARKEY NME RADAR MIX

Oh boy, what a great way to start this snowy and cold Friday. Two of my favorite producers at the moment, i.e. Starkey and Slugabed will ease my corpo drudgery with absolutely fantastic music.

In a matter of days, the Starkey's new EP - Stars will drop on Planet Mu. The EP featuring a mesmerizing vocal of Anneka, includes the remixes by heavy-weight music champions like Slugabed, Raffertie or Ital Tek. On this occasion Starkey not only did a mix for NME but also released one remix for free download. And the remix by SLUGABED it is !!!! Yippie. It's a work of ART. Words are superflous, let the music speak:

But the main treat of the sonic orgy comes with the Starkey's NME RADAR MIX. Without a doubt this is the best mix I had a chance to hear this year. It is worth downloading just for EPROM's Humanoid VIP alone, ha ha. But seriously, the tracklist is just dripping street bass heaviness all over my ears, including presentation of the Starkey's music from the Stars EP and forth-coming full-length.  E.g. Capsule  has a f...g fantastic bassline and great synth while Spacecraft is simply an all-encompasing heavy bass orgy!  A few dubs from his extensive music buddies are as usual top-notch, like DNAEBeats and NastyNasty collab of lovely title Aqua Bubble Hash. This mix is tight as hell and I not only recommend it, I DEMAND you listened to it! Such a good start to this day, I wish Fact Magazine released already the next instalment in the FACT Mix series - this time by none other than electro future blap crunky warriors of Lazer Sword!!

Tracklist:
01 - Starkey ft. Cerebral Vortex & Buddy Leezle "Club Games" (planet mu)
02 - Starkey "OK Luv" (planet mu)
03 - Starkey "Millennia" (planet mu)
04 - Tayo meets Acid Rockers ft. Pupajim "Vampayaa (Starkey remix)" (cool & deadly)
05 - Swindle "Airmiles" (planet mu)
06 - Grems ft. Foreign Beggars "Brokabilly" (dub)
07 - Mensah "Pulse 80's" (hench)
08 - Kingdom "DPM / Juke Ya Girl Remix (Extended)" (dub)
09 - Starkey "Capsule" (planet mu)
10 - Numan "Skull Crusher (Bombaman remix)" (slit jockey)
11 - DNAEBEATS ft. NastyNasty "Aqua Bubble Hash" (seclusiasis)
12 - Rudi Zygadlo "Resealable Friendship (Slugabed's Special Friends Deepest Holes remix)" (planet mu)
13 - EPROM "Humanoid VIP" (dub)
14 - Starkey "Spacecraft" (planet mu)

16 - 8Bitch "G41" (slit jockey)
17 - Starkey ft. Anneka "Stars" (planet mu)

EPROM - NEVER

[This one is for my bro' who has caught a serious future garage virus recently (wink, wink) ]

Honestly, I have not expected such a track from EPROM! Heavy digital post-garage trip with great, tight, pulsating bassline and very nice use of vocals; also a kind of mixture of soft Zomby's wonkiness with heavy bass-driven aesthetics typical of EPROM. The final effect is pure fire, I love this track from the first hearing. Grab Never on vinyl with the original and FaltyDL's remix, released by Surefire Sound Records, before this hot stuff solds out. I want the digital copy of this track baaaadly!

EPROM will be big in 2010, I'm positive about this. His release offensive already started, just check his banging, hyphy single Zoning (with Profisee)  fresh of the press or a nice remix of Starkey's OK Luv. At the end of February, a split-EP with Eskmo for Warp, will hit the shelves. EPROM's Hendt has yet another flavor, check the preview on Junodownload. It's great to see artists exploring diverse music fields, especially artists of such skills and potential as EPROM. Now, Mister, it's time for Humanoid.

The Earlies - Breaking Point (EPROM remix)

One of my favorite artists from West Coast, SF-based EPROM has just cooked up a seriously heavy and twisted remix (and designed the above wicked image!) of the track called Breaking Point by an experimental psychedelic pop band The Earlies for a music portal from SF called Stay Lucid. To be honest with you, I've never heard about The Earlies but in this remix I definitely hear glitched-to-the-max trademark bassline of EPROM. Arghhh love this sound! I'm all swet waiting for the mighty Humanoid to drop soon on Rwina!!

Eprom - The Mixtape

F...g huge mixtape, distributed by Eeprom during his show at Bassface Portland. The mixtape blew my head off!!! I should not have listened to it at work.
